Geneviève and Guy are madly in love; the Algerian War will separate them forever: “Les Parapluies de Cherbourg,” Palme d'Or 1964, the film that introduced Catherine Deneuve, enchants all those who dream of a “charmed” world. Elisa Lécuyer invites singer Gabrielle Sandman for this occasion, who shares her passionate admiration for Jacques Demy's film and Michel Legrand's music. The two collaborators swap hats to take turns playing Geneviève, Guy, Madame Émery, Madeleine, or Aunt Élise, all accompanied by Jean Saint Loubert on piano, embodying the enchanting orchestra.
