IBEX combines the improvisational virtuosity of jazz musicians with the electronic sounds of the UK underground. The project rejects any single genre or category, oscillating between Jungle, Future Bass, Techno and UK Garage, while remaining entirely live, improvised and raw.
IBEX seek to simultaneously reinvent EDM and improvised music, breaking down electronic and acoustic boundaries while retaining the tribal dimension that unites the two approaches.
IBEX present their very first concert at 38Riv, a celebration of the future of musical possibilities and the human need to dance.
