Raynald Colom · Live at 38Riv on TSF Jazz

Live at 38Riv on TSF JAZZ

Manon Brimaud's Jazzlive program on TSF Jazz returned to 38Riv in 2025 to broadcast live trumpeter Raynald Colom's first carte blanche concert, on January 16.

For Raynald Colom, this new year means a new adventure. Once a month until April, the 38Riv is entrusting him with the keys to the club for a series of cartes blanches based on his first six albums as leader. For over 20 years, Raynald Colom's musical roots have been enriched by all his influences: the flamenco of his early years, the electronic sounds of a pure 90s product, and the purest jazz studied with Roy Hargrove, Clark Terry and Wynton Marsalis.

With him, every record takes on the air of a travelogue. A discography of souvenir albums.

And an ideal playground for friends to get together and imagine their next trip. For his carte blanche, Raynald Colom has scheduled one team per month. Tonight is the first, and it's off to a great start. Alongside him, Carl-Henri Morisset on piano, Yoni Zelnik on double bass and Lukmil Perez on drums...

A live to (re)listen.
