VERB

VERB is a jazz group born from a spark between three musicians during a jam session. The three musicians shared a unique moment and decided to meet regularly. Rehearsals multiplied, and following a residency, their repertoire, made entirely of original compositions, was developed. The trio drew inspiration from the greats, from Keith Jarrett's trio to Oscar Peterson, as well as Bill Evans and Chick Corea.

Since the group's formation in 2022, they have performed in France, Belgium, and Switzerland at several festivals (the ancient theater of Jazz à Vienne, Crest Jazz, Cosmojazz, Tournai Jazz, Jazz sur la plage...) and venues (Duc des Lombards in Paris, Maison de la Culture in Amiens...). VERB is the winner of the Rezzo Jazz competition in Vienne 2023 and a finalist in the national jazz competition at La Défense 2025.
