Ronnie Lynn Patterson, a self-taught pianist who has lived in France since 1991, has developed a unique musical world inspired by the legacy of Keith Jarrett, McCoy Tyner, and composer Morton Feldman. His approach—at once free, sensitive, and deeply personal—has earned him critical acclaim and led to collaborations with musicians such as Jean-Jacques Avenel and Didier Lasserre.

Performing as a duo, Jean-Pierre Rebillard and Ronnie Lynn Patterson offer a musical conversation of great finesse, in which the double bass and piano engage in a dialogue marked by elegance, rapport, and a freedom of improvisation that leaves plenty of room for the moment.
