| Jazz, groove
The trio formed by Ludivine Issambourg (flute), François Poitou (double bass), and Manu Codjia (guitar) develops music that is both groovy and intimate, carried by a repertoire of original compositions.
The group stands out for its original instrumentation, notably thanks to Ludivine Issambourg's beatbox flute, which brings a rhythmic and contemporary dimension to the trio. Finalist for the Django Reinhardt Prize in 2025 and 2026, voted Best Flutist of the Year by Jazz Magazine, President of the Rezzo Jazz jury in Vienne and winner of the Sunset Trophies. Trained at the conservatory, he stands out for his careful writing and great melodic sensitivity. He has collaborated with Sylvain Rifflet, Didier Lockwood, Federico Casagrande, Emel Mathlouthi, Paris Combo, Charlélie Couture, and Zaz.
Manu Codjia is a guitarist renowned for his personal style, blending rock, jazz, and improvised music. Inspired by John Scofield and Bill Frisell, his playing is characterized by great rhythmic freedom and striking expressiveness. He collaborates with Henri Texier, Daniel Humair, and Erik Truffaz, among others, and also leads his own projects.
