A double bassist, composer and versatile musician, Léna Aubert performs with a variety of ensembles spanning diverse genres: jazz, classical music, Greek music, Breton and Irish music, and Venezuelan music.
Passionate about writing and arranging, she composes and arranges for ensembles ranging from trios to large ensembles such as big bands or more hybrid formations.
For this fourth carte blanche, she has invited singer Lola Payen. Exploring the spaces created by the duo, the two musicians blend composition and improvisation, passing melodies back and forth, accompanying each other in turn, and playing with the interplay of their voices
