A double bassist, composer, and versatile musician, Léna Aubert performs with a variety of ensembles spanning diverse genres: jazz, classical music, Greek music, Breton and Irish music, and Venezuelan music.

Passionate about writing and arranging, she composes and arranges for groups ranging from trios to large ensembles such as big bands or more hybrid formations.

For this carte blanche, Léna invites Thomas Savy, a renowned clarinetist and bass clarinetist.
As their conversation unfolds, the two musicians realize that each would have loved to play the other’s instrument! For this unique collaboration, they will explore composition and improvisation, with a subtle blend of the timbres of these two bass instruments.
