Tatiana Eva-Marie's career path is remarkable in more ways than one. She was born in Switzerland and began her career at the age of 4 by recording an album with the famous children's singer Henri Dès. Later, she moved to Paris to pursue her career, with one foot in poetry and the other in theater, while performing as a gypsy singer in the city's cabarets at night. But it was in New York that she would attempt to realize her dreams. There she formed the Avalone Jazz Band, in which she combines her French and Balkan heritage, her love for Parisian art from the 1920s to the 1960s, her passion for traditional gypsy songs, and her fascination with New Orleans music and the Great American Songbook. She will be accompanied here by her longtime collaborator, Michael Valeanu, on guitar.
