A virtuoso multi-instrumentalist (guitar, cello, as well as traditional instruments from the Balkans and Africa), he has developed a richly textured musical approach shaped by travel, encounters, and improvisation.
An inventive composer, Sébastien Giniaux explores the boundaries between jazz, classical music, world music, and gypsy traditions, creating a personal, free, and expressive musical language.
