Ramona Horvath invite Lisa Cat-Berro
Pianist Ramona Horvath and saxophonist Lisa Cat-Berro unite their musical worlds in an innovative quartet featuring a repertoire dedicated to the great female composers in jazz history, who have long remained in the shadows or been insufficiently recognized.
Through the works of Mary Lou Williams, Ann Ronell, Carla Bley, Maria Grever, Kay Swift, and other major figures, the quartet pays tribute to these creators who have profoundly influenced the history of music. The program is also enriched by original compositions from Ramona Horvath and Lisa Cat-Berro, offering a natural dialogue between heritage and contemporary creation.
Driven by four musicians with strong personalities, this evolving ensemble explores a meeting space where sensitivities respond, intertwine, and enrich each other. Between lyricism, freedom, camaraderie, and improvisation, each concert becomes a living experience, fueled by listening and the inspiration of the moment.
An evening marked by discovery, emotion, and musical alchemy… with the promise of delightful surprises at every turn.
