OLA TUNJI

The Brussels quartet OLA TUNJI comes together around saxophonist Ornella Noulet, united by a shared passion for the spiritual dimension of jazz. On October 16, the official release date of their debut album on WERF Records, they will have the honor of performing at the prestigious 38Riv club to celebrate this release with the audience. Drawing from the legacy of John Coltrane and his contemporaries, their music explores improvisation as both expression and connection. Often shifting from stripped-down textures to denser passages, their individual voices emerge while remaining integrated into a larger flow. The music resembles less a series of pieces and more a continuous process. On stage, OLA TUNJI creates an immersive atmosphere akin to a trance: a special experience for the audience.
