Her interpretation, the elegance of her phrasing, and her deeply expressive voice have garnered international acclaim - “Flawless” (Downbeat), “Mesmerizing” (JazzTimes), “White Hot Creation” (All About Jazz) - establishing her as one of the distinctive voices in contemporary jazz.

Her albums "Drive" (2015), "Dream A Little Dream" (2017), "Break Up With The Sound" (2019), and "Two Moons" (2023) have received significant airplay on American and international jazz radio. Blending bebop tradition with more experimental sound explorations and sensitive reinterpretations of pop ballads, Michelle Lordi creates a refined and intensely inhabited musical universe.

She has performed in numerous clubs, festivals, and prestigious venues across the United States and Europe, including Birdland, Smalls Jazz Club, SMOKE Jazz & Supper Club, and Le Duc des Lombards.

Nominated in 2019 in three categories of the Hot House New York City Readers Jazz Awards (Best Band, Rising Star, and Female Jazz Vocalist), she has collaborated with many prominent figures in contemporary jazz such as Orrin Evans, Greg Osby, Buster Williams, and Rudresh Mahanthappa.
