| Album ‘Stories’

With her new album ‘Stories’, recorded in New York, young Swiss pianist Manon Mullener takes us on a musical journey inspired by the moving stories of people she has met around the world. Each track on this modern jazz album with Cuban influences tells a unique life story, such as that of Zoila, a 95-year-old Cuban grandmother who recalls the perfume shop she ran with her husband in Havana in the 1950s, or that of Noh, a Mexican taxi driver attached to Mayan values, and that of Willard, an opera lover from the upmarket neighbourhoods of New York. A world tour of 100 concerts will allow audiences to discover these musical stories live, with an energy and depth that promise unforgettable thrills.
