CNSMDP
38Riv is partnering with the jazz department of the Paris National Conservatory of Music and Dance (CNSMDP) for a new series of weekly jam sessions, every Thursday evening.
Designed as a true laboratory for musical practice, these evenings offer students the opportunity to perform regularly in a professional setting, while fostering connections with the Parisian music community.
Each event begins with a short concert performed by students from the jazz department, followed by an open jam session. This collaboration also provides an opportunity to experiment with an original format—a blend of concert, mentorship, and collective practice—where the rules of the jam are established in a spirit of sharing, listening, and mutual support.
