Ananda Brandão
Ananda Brandaõ is a French-Brazilian drummer, singer, and composer. Trained at the CMDL and then at the Royal Academy of Music in London, she navigates between jazz, folk, samba, and pop, alongside artists such as Clélya Abraham, Alex Hitchcock, and Rhoda Scott. Winner of the 2024 René Urtreger Prize, she now co-leads the group Ninanda with Nina Gat, supported by Paris Jazz Club and winner of the Rezzo Jazz springboard in Vienne. Ananda explores a mixed jazz style, nourished by her Brazilian roots and multiple influences.
