Coccolite
| Jazz, compositions
The COCCOLITE trio, winner of Jazz Migration #7 and double “CHOC” Jazz Magazine, focuses on acoustics for an intimate evening at 38Riv. Julien Sérié, Nicolas Derand, and Timothée Robert revisit their repertoire in a stripped-down version, revealing the organic essence of their hybrid universe.
For this occasion, the trio is joined by a guest soloist, adding a new color to their compositions.
This acoustic session marks the beginning of their upcoming album “Fragments d'éclats,” a work exploring living memory and the resonance of memories. Between modern classical influences, contemporary jazz, and stripped-down urban grooves, the trio offers an intimate reading of pieces from Echo, Live Now, and Extrasystole.
A rare moment to rediscover COCCOLITE in a new configuration.
