Duved trio

Duved Dunayevsky is a guitarist, composer, and conductor based in Paris. He is widely recognized as the leading interpreter of the 1930s guitar style of Django Reinhardt. Born in Israel, Duved is largely self-taught. He spent his teenage years playing fusion jazz, with a particular interest in the works of John Scofield. He discovered the music of Django Reinhardt and then decided to fully dedicate himself to this style. He has earned a reputation for his remarkable ability to embody "that sound" so beloved by Django fans and sought after by students of this style. Together with violinist Daniel Garlitsky, he is the driving force behind the reformation of the historic Quintette du Hot Club de France.
