Élise Vassallucci & Salma Blanchard racontent Anne Sylvestre

Élise Vassallucci, vocalist, and Salma Blanchard, pianist, share two musical styles close to their hearts: jazz and French chanson. Somewhere between these two aesthetics, which are not so distant after all, lies a singer-songwriter, feminist and deeply humanist, admired by both artists. Her stage name is Anne Sylvestre, and her legacy seems endless: over 600 songs written and composed, spanning both adult and children's repertoires, over the course of sixty years; not to mention the array of contemporary artists who cite her as an inspiration.

Élise and Salma wish to pay "femmage" to her by drawing from the many gems in her adult discography, in an effort to bring her poetry, melodies, and stories to life a little more.
