Discover Frances Gershwin (1895-1973), the forgotten sister of George and Ira. A vaudeville artist and singer, she offered an intimate glimpse into the iconic songs of her brothers ("The Man I Love," "Somebody Loves Me"), as well as some overlooked gems, breathing new life into an underappreciated repertoire.

In For George (1971), she sings with infinite tenderness and playful humor, as if she’s sharing stories about her brothers at home.

Melissa Lesnie and Mathieu Meyer, one of the great pianists of this repertoire, reinterpret these songs with emotion and precision. A tribute to Frances Gershwin, an artist in her own right.
