Frères Gastine & Gael Rouilhac
David Gastine discovered the music of Django Reinhardt in the late 90s, which became a pivotal moment in his journey towards rhythm guitar. In 2008, David joined the Selmer #607 project, allowing him to shine alongside the young generation of jazz manouche as an accompanist and singer. He then participated in Tony Gatlif's "Djangodrom" project, commemorating the centenary of Django Reinhardt's birth. His collaboration with guitarist Stéphane Wrembel would later take him to some of the most prestigious stages in New York (Carnegie Hall in 2017 and Town Hall in 2019, as part of the Django à Gogo festival), alongside prominent figures of the manouche style, such as Stochelo Rosenberg.
Gaël Rouilhac is a French musician, born in 1982. An eclectic guitarist with diverse influences, his main focus is jazz and improvisation. A composer, primarily for his project "Waterworks," he also takes on occasional commissions (TV films, radio…). Additionally, he regularly performs as a vocalist in a leading role.
