Hillai Govreen Quartet

Saxophonist, clarinetist, and composer Hillai Govreen presents her quartet, performing original music shaped by contemporary jazz.

Rooted in the New York jazz scene and influenced by a wide range of styles, the quartet explores a balance between structure and freedom, lyricism and rhythmic intensity. Each piece unfolds through interaction, spontaneity, and a strong compositional identity.

Based in New York, Govreen collaborates with numerous international musicians. She has toured in India, Europe, Israel, Brazil, and the United States, and has performed at iconic New York venues such as Dizzy's Club, The Jazz Gallery, Smalls Jazz Club, Mezzrow, Birdland, National Sawdust, and Ornithology Jazz Club.
