Jeanne Lee is a singer who made her mark in jazz history with her unique, deep, and sensitive reinterpretations of standards, as well as her distinctive and free approach to vocal jazz.

In her discography, her albums recorded with pianist Mal Waldron, The Newest Sound Around (1961) and Free Standards (1966), as well as the extraordinary "Conspiracy" (1974) and "Natural Affinities" (1992) with Dave Holland, are gems that must be rediscovered.

The singer, actress, and improviser Äulne, active in jazz and improvised music, pays tribute to her with a beautifully crafted trio, where emotion and the joy of improvisation take center stage.
