Milena Casado is a trumpeter, composer, and producer from Spain. Discovered and trained by Terri Lyne Carrington at the BERKLEE INSTITUTE OF JAZZ AND GENDER JUSTICE, Milena has been performing on the international jazz scene for the past five years with ensembles led by Terri Lyne Carrington, Vijay Iyer, Aaron Parks, Kris Davis, Freedom Riders...

Now based in New York, she is one of the standout artists in the contemporary American scene. Leading her own quintet for two years, she has already made her mark at major international festivals such as NYC Winter JazzFest, Montreal International Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, and Jazz à Vitoria-Gasteiz...
