The Pierre Marcus Trio offers a lively and intimate jazz experience, blending original compositions with a few reimagined standards.
Long-standing friends, the three musicians share a genuine musical rapport, built on listening, interaction and inspired improvisation.

Pierre Marcus is a double bassist and composer active on the French jazz scene. He plays as a sideman in numerous projects whilst also developing his own bands.
He has released several albums (“Longue Attente”, “Pyrodance”, “Following the Right Way”, “Second Life”), centred on his own compositions with a modern approach to jazz.
He also held a residency for seven years at 38Riv, where he performed regularly and invited numerous musicians to join him.
