A double bassist and composer on the Parisian jazz scene, Pierre Marcus has established himself as a sought-after musician for the finesse of his playing and the solidity of his sense of groove. Trained in jazz and improvised music, he developed a personal musical identity early on, at the crossroads of tradition and modernity.
As the leader of several projects, he creates sensitive and dynamic compositions while collaborating with numerous artists on the French and international scenes. His approach emphasizes listening, dialogue among musicians, and a great freedom of improvisation, making each of his concerts a vibrant and unique experience.
