A Franco-British pianist and composer, James Uhart grew up in Paris before moving to the United States to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston. After graduating, he spent six years in New York, where he worked as a vocal accompanist and music teacher, while also leading a trio with which he recorded eight albums and performed alongside artists such as Gino Sitson and Amy Winehouse.
Alongside his career as a performer, he composes for theater and film. After eleven years in the United States, he returned to Europe and now lives in Lisbon, Portugal.
